The Star

What The Star means

A star is useful precisely because it is far away and cannot be reached. Nothing here can be acquired: this is a card about bearings, a fixed point that stays put while everything nearer to it moves, and it would stop working the moment it came any closer. Distance is the service and not the deprivation. Its place in the order carries the rest of the argument. It follows directly on the Tower, and that is offered as sequence, not reward, since what makes the ground visible again is that something standing on it came down.

Upright

Hope is practical here: make the small repair, share the honest wish, and let your future receive a little more light than your past did.

Reversed

The light is still present, but fatigue may be narrowing your view. Rest, reconnect to a simple source of meaning, and let hope be quiet for a while.

A question to sit with

What small sign of renewal can you make visible today?
