Ten of Wands, from the Ishtar Insights tarot deck

What Ten of Wands means

A Ten is a suit taken as far as it goes. Each one overdoes its own suit’s principle; in Wands the principle is accumulation. Enthusiasm generates commitments faster than anything discharges them, and the suit carries no mechanism for closing one out, so every undertaking it ever started is still open and only the total ever moves. That is what makes the load so hard to argue with. No single item on it is unreasonable and none of it arrived uninvited, so nothing on the list answers to being called the problem. The suit ends by counting.

Upright

A worthwhile undertaking may have become heavy. Separate what is yours to carry from what can be shared, simplified, or completed.

Reversed

Relief begins by putting something down deliberately. Watch for a pattern of taking it all back, and make the new division of responsibility explicit.

A question to sit with

Which responsibility can I share, simplify, or finish?
