What Page of Cups means
Earth is the term that comes in pieces. Any quantity of water is like any other quantity of water, and the same holds for fire and for air; earth is granular, and one part of it is not another. Particularity is what that adds to a water suit — feeling with an object, about this and not about the general condition of being open to anything. A capacity cannot be mistaken, and neither can a mood, since neither of them is about anything at all. A particular is about something, and being about something is what makes being wrong possible. Error becomes available to the suit at this rank.
Upright
A tentative feeling or creative idea deserves a kind reception. Stay curious about what it might become, and give yourself permission to express it simply.
Reversed
A tender response may be difficult to name or easy to dismiss. Pause before retreating into fantasy or embarrassment; try one small, honest expression.
A question to sit with
What would I say if I did not have to make it sound impressive?
